Privacy Policy

ACCESS ("we", "us") helps you discover events, buy tickets and get in — one tap. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run ticketing well.

01Information we collect

• Account & identity — your phone number (used for one-time-passcode sign-in), display name, and referral code.
• Location — your approximate city, to show events near you. You can decline; we then let you pick a city manually.
• Tickets & activity — events you view, tickets you buy, and QR passes issued to you.
• Payments — checkout is processed by our payment partner Pesepay. We receive the payment reference and status; we do not store your full card or mobile-money credentials.
• Device & diagnostics — basic app/device data and crash reports to keep the app stable.

02How we use it

• To create your account, issue tickets, and verify entry at events.
• To process payments and apply ACCESS credits and referral rewards.
• To show relevant events for your city and send tickets and important notices.
• To prevent fraud, secure the platform, and comply with the law.

03How we share it

• Event organizers — for events you buy into, so they can admit you and manage attendance.
• Service providers — Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage, notifications) and Pesepay (payments), acting on our instructions.
• Legal — where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

We do not sell your personal information.

04Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide tickets, meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

05Your choices

• Access, correct or delete your account information.
• Turn location and notifications on or off in your device settings.
• Request a copy of the data associated with your account.

06Security

We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections and access controls — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep yours safe.
